Pause in Paradise – A Soulful Retreat in Puerto Escondido, Mexico


Join us for seven days of Pausing in Paradise on Oaxaca's Emerald Coast.

This is not your average yoga retreat, it’s so much more. Part nourishing retreat, part an immersion in the art of pausing, part fun filled beach holiday with a lovely group of new conscious friends in a luxurious setting.

This retreat takes place over the Spring Equinox & New Moon in Pisces & is the perfect time to pause, reset your body & mind, and manifest your desires for the year ahead.

It’s an intimate experience with just 7 rooms available in our own luxury beachfront villa where we’ll have a team of private chefs preparing delicious, healthy meals.

Typical Daily Schedule

Please note that this is subject to change, but will give you an idea of what to expect. All activities are optional. If you prefer to skip the morning pause and lie in/walk on the beach, that’s fab too. This is your holiday, take care of you! 

 

8.15am - Morning Pause

Start the day intentionally with meditation, breathwork & gratitude practices overlooking the ocean.

8.45am - Morning Movement

Variety of vinyasa flow & somatic movement practices.

10.15am - Breakfast

Nourishing breakfast with juices & smoothies.

11.00am - Free time

Free time for you to do as you please. Sunbathe by the pool, swim in the ocean, read, enjoy a massage.

1.30pm - Lunch

Delicious & healthy lunch.

2.30pm - Free time

Free time for you to do as you please. Walk into town, surf, nap, dolphin watch!

6.00pm - Evening Pause

Variety of rest practices as the sun sets to help you wind down to the sounds of the waves.

7.30pm - Dinner

Delicious & healthy dinner.

On certain days we’ll have special activities during the afternoon free time or after dinner such as sip & paint, manifestation workshop, cacao ceremony & more.

These are all optional and you are free to take part in as much or as little as you like.

All of our rooms are thoughtfully designed to provide the utmost comfort and luxury. Each features a private en suite bathroom and is equipped with air conditioning for a refreshing stay. Guests can expect breathtaking sea views or serene garden vistas, ensuring a picturesque backdrop to your holiday.

2 - Luxury King room - Single Occupancy

Spacious, serene, and thoughtfully designed — for those travelling solo who want a room of their own.

A beautiful shared room with separate beds or one king — perfect for couples, friends or solo guests open to sharing.

Bring a Friend Bonus:

Book with a friend & each save an additional £50.

  • To reserve your space, we ask for a 35% non-refundable deposit payable by bank transfer.

  • A further 35% will be due by 1st Nov and the final balance by 1st Feb 2026.

  • Monthly payment plans available to spread the cost.  

  • To reach the villa, book your flight to Puerto Escondido airport.

  • Complimentary shuttles will pick you up from there and transport you to the villa.

  • Check in is from 4pm on 16th (opening circle is 5.30pm) check out is 11am on 22nd.

  • We have a private retreat whatsapp group to connect with other guests & share travel plans.

  • We are able to help advise on pre and post retreat travel destinations if you wish to extend your trip.

  • Retreat is open to individuals of all genders and couples. Female only for shared rooms.

Hannah Godfrey

 

Hannah spent 15 years working in tech in New York, Silicon Valley, and London. Despite achieving great outward success, inside it was a different story and she experienced multiple burnouts. This led Hannah on an inward journey, and now she is passionate about changing the way we work and live, by embracing the power of pausing. 

Hannah’s retreats invite you to reconnect with your inner strength through somatic practices, breathwork, movement, and meditation. She is a 300-hour RYT specializing in Restorative and Elemental Flow Yoga, a certified Pranayama Breathwork Instructor, a trained Somatic Facilitator, and a Level 1 Reiki Energy Healer. With over 500 hours of personal therapy and coaching, Hannah brings a grounded, deeply embodied approach to creating spaces where true transformation can unfold.

This retreat is open to absolutely everyone regardless of age, gender or physical ability. It is a welcoming environment for us all to pause, rest, heal & have fun in community with other like minded souls.

All practices are optional, should you wish to sleep in and skip the morning, the choice is yours to take what you like and leave the rest.

  • Absolutely. Our retreat is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re brand new to yoga, meditation, or breathwork—or have years of practice—you’ll be gently guided and supported throughout.

  • No. All practices are gentle, embodied, and accessible to a range of abilities. This is not a bootcamp—it’s a space to soften, reconnect, and listen to your body.

  • Yes! Our chefs prepare fresh, nutritious meals using local ingredients, and we’re happy to cater to most dietary requirements—just let us know when booking.

  • Pack light, breathable clothing for warm days, a few layers for cooler evenings, swimwear, a sunhat, sandals, and comfortable clothes for movement practices. We’ll send a full packing list closer to the retreat, including any optional items (like a journal or favorite book).

  • Not at all. Many of our guests join solo, and it’s a beautiful part of the experience. We create a warm, welcoming space where deep connections form naturally. You’ll have plenty of opportunity for both shared connection and solo reflection.

  • Yes. Our retreat is open to all gender identities. We hold a space that is inclusive, respectful, and welcoming to everyone.

  • Yes, every day includes spaciousness for rest, beach time, journaling, massages, or doing absolutely nothing. We’re big believers in not packing your schedule.
